Sometimes it feels like boat preparations have been all consuming.  This week we also took a break to make Halloween costumes.  Minecraft has been on everyone’s mind this year, so that’s what their theme is.  The girls chose fabric, frills, ruffles and sequins, Roy chose cardboard boxes.  Sorry I don’t have a picture for him, I’ll try to get one one soon.

Eric is flying to the boat, but we’re driving to Florida and storing our van at a friend’s house in NJ.  Next summer we’ll be up there avoiding hurricanes and use the van to visit East Coast family, friends, and have adventures at some of the historical sites that formed the country we live in with all the freedoms we currently have.  The van will be loaded with cold weather clothes for next fall, more books and school books that I’ve collected for future grades.  We also have kites and camping gear, and anything else we couldn’t live without but couldn’t justify shipping.
